MacroMate uses your device's location to show nearby restaurants. Make sure location services are enabled for the app in your device settings.
Location access allows MacroMate to show you restaurants in your area and provide relevant menu recommendations. Without location access, you can still browse restaurants and menu hacks, but you won't see distance-based recommendations.
Menu scanning uses AI to analyze restaurant menus and provide macro-friendly recommendations. This feature is currently in development and will be available in a future update.
MacroMate requires an internet connection to load restaurant data and menu information. However, your favorites and recent searches are cached locally.
